it’s funny how weather plays a significant roll in angling pressure. I’m sure the fish don’t mind it. They can now eat indiscriminately without much fear of getting poked and dragged into a net. With this cold front moving in this week, look for the river to have much less boat and angling pressure. For those willing to get out and freeze your finger tips the warmest part of the day should bring some great dry fly fishing with Skwalas, March Browns and BWO’s. Me personally, will be catching up on my fly tying and office work. Be ready when this cold snap breaks, we’ll get in some great dry fly fishing before run off starts.
