Rock Creek Fishing Report 9/28/2024

Posted by Jeff Gray on

Fall fishing on the creek is one of the best times to target this area. With little to no crowds you can typically find a section all to yourself. The fish are eager and willing to eat a good drift on most any attractor pattern or parachute fly. The hatches, although not thick, will provide enough top water action to keep the fish interested in eating dry flies.

Currently Skalkaho Pass is currently CLOSED so if your making the trek over the hill, you must go through the Big Hole or through Missoula.

Current Flow: 201 CFS near Clinton
