November Fishing Report

November 27, 2018

With the first sign of winter and the holidays fast approaching, the river has been a ghost town.  Yes there is still fishing to be had and the die hard fisherman is still getting it done. It's mostly a nymphing game, even the streamer bite has slowed since our last cold snap. Look for the fish to move to the slower deeper areas where the water tends to be a bit warmer. Worms, Eggs, Stonefly Nymphs and Small May Fly patterns will be the norm for the next few months. Keep a few midges in your arsenal just in case, but I think staring at a bobber will be about the most productive thing you can do for now.   The shop is still open during the winter months for the guys and gals that need advice or a fresh set up. Through the holidays we'll have some incredible deals if your looking for any new equipment or looking to buy a few gifts. You can click HERE to see our current sale items, most of which are 40-60% off MSRP.
