Bitterroot Fishing Report 9/10/19

It appears that the fall fishing has landed in the Bitterroot Valley. The fall hatches have officially taken hold and the fish seem to be responding. So much on the menu right now. Hoppers, Ants, Beetles, Hecuba, BWO, Mahogany, Trico and Caddis are all producing fish. Ask 3 different guides and you'll get 3 different answers on what the "hot" fly was for the day. This flat out means the fish are on the feed and its a great time to be an angler in Western Montana. The streamer junkies have been successful as well. Look for the tailouts and foam lines to be the best holding water. Keep you leaders long and thin for the most success.
