Oct 13th River Report

As the fall colors start to set in on the Bitterroot Valley, the fishing just keeps getting better. We've been pretty lucky over the past few weeks with cooperating weather patterns and the same could be said about the fish. The Dry Fly anglers have been very successful lately on BWO's, Mahogany Duns and the occasional October Caddis pattern. Afternoons seem to be the most productive time of day for throwing dries. The streamer junkies have been turning a few fish as well. Anything in the Olive or Yellow/Brown color seems to be the most effective. Look for the fall fishing to continue strong through the end of the month.

Now is a great time to gear up on new fishing gear. Select in stock products are 25-50% off. See store for details.
