Bitterroot Fishing Report
Get to fishing while you still can. Fishing on the Bitterroot has been decent for winter time fishing. Anytime to temps are in the upper 30's gives it a pleasant feeling to being on the water this time of year. It's primarily a nymphing game right now. With water temps in the low 30's you won't get the fish to move much for your offering. Make sure to get it in front of their face. Look for the slower water to be holding the majority of the fish, however they will periodically move into the riffles should there be any insect activity to feed on emerging insects.
